Final Tour: Contemporary Ukrainian Photography at Fotografiska

Guided by Tallinn-based Ukrainian street photographer Andrii Mur

UKU

This summer, the walls of Fotografiska Tallinn’s 1st floor have been adorned with a powerful display of contemporary Ukrainian photography. The display is part of the inaugural UKUfest — a Ukrainian contemporary art festival brought together by galleries and art institutions across Tallinn to express solidarity with Ukraine and its culture.

On view are works by three acclaimed Ukrainian photographers — Tania Ruda, Taras Bychko, and Vera Verseau. Their images reflect deeply personal experiences and emotions in response to the ongoing situation in their homeland, expressing a profound longing for freedom and humanity.

Join us on August 12 at 18:00 for the final tour of the exhibition, guided by Tallinn-based Ukrainian street photographer Andrii Mur. During the tour, he will share insights into Ukraine’s contemporary art scene and offer personal reflections on the featured works.

The event is free of charge and takes place on the 1st floor of Fotografiska Tallinn.
Please register your attendance via Fienta, if possible.
The tour will be conducted in English.

The display remains open until August 13.

All artworks are available for purchase – for more information, contact: maarja.loorents@fotografiska.com

The works are also viewable and available for purchase online.
