At Fotografiska, we love kicking off the new year with a bang

This time, we’re launching 2026 in style with a major retrospective of none other than the legendary Anton Corbijn.

Featuring over 200 works, the exhibition invites visitors into Corbijn’s mischievously moody universe, where the stars are icons of global music. U2, Depeche Mode, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, and Prince are just a few of the names immortalized in Corbijn’s unforgettable visual world – and they all come alive on the walls when the exhibition opens on the evening of 23 January.

A powerful video room draws visitors directly into the heart of music, celebrating Corbijn’s videography and legendary music videos – the very rhythms that have shaped generations of fans.

Special Dinner – 23 January at 19:00

We’ll kick off the evening before the exhibition opening with a special dinner that’s as bold and creative as Fotografiska itself, taking inspiration from Corbijn and the artists who have crossed his path.

The dinner also grants a small preview of the exhibition before it officially opens, offering the very first glimpse of the freshly polished installation.

Guests will enjoy a three-part sharing menu, carefully curated by the head chef.

* Special dinner with welcome drink: €89
* with wine pairing: €129

* Includes early access to the Anton Corbijn exhibition (before the official opening)

The opening of Anton Corbijn’s exhibition brings a full program of special events to Fotografiska.

Opening weekend begins on Thursday, 22 January at 18:00 with the live podcast recording featuring Brainstorm, followed at 19:00 by a Corbijn-themed dinner at the restaurant and the first preview of the upcoming exhibition.

On Friday, 23 January at 16:00, visitors can join the exhibition’s only guided tour led by Corbijn himself. Later that evening at 20:00, the museum will transform into a live music venue as the exhibition officially opens with a blast.

On Saturday, 24 January at 16:00, a live recording of the Muusikanõunikud podcast with Corbijn will take place, launching the Corbijn Sessions – a series of Corbijn-focused events running throughout the exhibition period.

The exhibition will be open to the public with a regular museum ticket starting Saturday, 24 January.
