Discover the world through the lens of a camera!
Fotografiska welcomes curious young minds with free admission for everyone up to 15 years old – yes, anytime! Come with friends or family, see how pictures tell stories, and get inspired to explore your own creativity. Step in, spark your imagination – this is your perspective, your story!
Inspired by Elliott Erwitt, kids with a free ticket can ask for a single-use camera at the museum ticket desk to observe the museum like Elliott did. We’ll take care of developing the photos. More info available at the museum cashdesk.
Or take on the Fotografiska treasure hunt and experience art in a whole new way!

Museum Watching
“As with the dogs, l go to museums, and 1 carry my camera. 1 don't go to museums to take pictures; at least I didn't particularly. I go because I'm interested in museums and since I have a camera, if I see something I take a picture of it. And again, l had a collection of museum pictures, some of them amusing.
If my pictures help some people to see things in a certain way, it’s probably to look at serious things non-seriously. Everything’s serious. Everything’s not serious.”
The text is an extract from the foreword Dedication written by Elliott Erwitt for the book Personal Exposures, published in 1988.
