Night Shift x Kultuuriöö: kaleidoscopic frame
29th of August 20–00
On Culture Night, Fotografiska transforms into a living kaleidoscope.
At Henriette Sabroe Ebbesen’s exhibition “Kaleidoscope”, photography merges with painting, reality blends with fantasy, and reflections dance with dreams.
But on Culture Night, you become the artist.
Together with photographer Kertin Vasser — whose lens captures the world with raw honesty and captivating intimacy — you'll be able to use your phone to create light-infused shots, surreal symmetries, and poetic reflections.
All artworks created by visitors that evening will be displayed in the exhibition space, forming a single, collective living artwork.
Come experience how even a seemingly simple camera can capture more than the human eye. Join in and shoot your own images, or simply watch as patterns, fantasies, and portraits intertwine into a vivid kaleidoscope.
This event is part of the Tallinn Culture Night programme.
Fotografiska Night Shift
Every Friday late night, Fotografiska switches into night shift.
From 8 PM, the museum takes on a different vibe: the lights are dimmer, the music a little louder, the drinks with extra flair — and entry is just €10 until midnight.
The exhibitions are open for late wanderers and weekend seekers, accompanied by a uniquely atmospheric bar.
Keep your eyes and mind open — surprises await. You never know what tricks the night mode has up its sleeve.
