Family Photography Masterclass with Photographer Elika Hunt
5th of May 12–13.30
Have you ever thought, "Time, stop!" Children run through puddles laughing. The youngest of the family is napping, surrounded by a dozen carefully arranged stuffed animals on the bed. Little kitchen helpers are emptying the dishwasher by themselves. It's time to make noise! Your own coffee on the table has cooled down, but you're happy. Or tired. Or both at the same time.
Experienced family photographer Elika Hunt will talk about photographing children and families at Fotografiska on May 5th. How to notice and capture the natural and real moments of your family's everyday life? That everyday beauty and charm.
Elika Hunt
Elika Hunt is one of the first family photographers in Estonia who has completely shifted from staged pictures to family documentary. She often spends hours with families, capturing their natural rhythm of life and authentic everyday moments. With her expressive photographic language, Elika has won several awards and is a member of the international Inspiration Photographers jury, as well as a Made for Documentary moderator.
