WINE WALK in Space
DrinkLab WINE WALK January 8 & January 15
Wine and the Cosmos
Did you know that astronaut Buzz Aldrin drank wine on the Moon? Or that one of the world’s most iconic Bordeaux wines, Château Pétrus, was sent into space to study how microgravity affects wine aging?
What is the future of wine beyond Earth? If humanity settles on another planet, will we grow grapevines there too? Could Mars one day host wine-paired dinners? As the French say, “Le champagne, c’est la vie.” And if champagne can’t be enjoyed in space—does life there truly have meaning?
DrinkLab WINE WALK
On both January 8 and 15, Fotografiska invites you to a very different kind of exhibition experience: a Wine Walk set within the exhibition hall of “SPACE – A Visual Journey.” Designed for those who appreciate fine wine and the stories behind the labels, this evening blends art, taste, and curiosity.
Guests will enjoy three distinctive wines while strolling through the exhibition alongside a Fotografiska sommelier. Together, we’ll uncover unexpected and surprising connections between wine and space, sharing captivating stories that unite vineyards, bubbles, and the cosmos.
This is also a final opportunity to experience the mesmerizing beauty of the Fotografiska cosmos exhibition before it closes on January 17.
Join us for an evening where wine meets the universe.
