At the beginning of November, Fotografiska will open a solo exhibition by French multimedia artist Josèfa Ntjam, inviting visitors on a multilayered sensory journey. The exhibition weaves together stories of historical movements that have empowered the oppressed, while opening a window to possible futures. Combining biomorphic sculptures, video installations, and photomontages, the presentation is fluid and poetic, full of hybrid forms and endless dialogues.

Throughout this multifaceted and captivating journey, the best guide is the artist herself. To mark the opening, Josèfa Ntjam will be in Tallinn, inviting visitors to join a conversational journey in which she shares the background stories and thought processes behind her works, right in the midst of the exhibition. She will be in conversation with Fotografiska guide and dialogue facilitator Elo Aun.

The exhibition invites visitors to dive into Josèfa Ntjam’s imaginative world, where past and future intertwine and change emerges from the power of community.
